Our silk dress is patterned by hand in India using the shibori technique, making each unique. The fabric is tied and knotted with yarn before dyeing, a resist-dyeing method which traces back thousands of years. Cut to a loose, free shape with gathered panels for added movement, falling to a lower-calf length.
Shibori-printed silk. Easy fit. Buttons and rouleau loops. Lower-calf length.

A traditional technique, originating in Japan, of patterning cloth by folding, stitching or tying the fabric by hand, prior to dyeing. Variations and unevenness are characteristic of this process.
Silk yarns are very delicate. Please protect the item from sharp objects or jewellery that may catch or snag, and avoid any drops or splashes of liquid as they may leave marks.
